It's now official: Monday night's Oklahoma-Kansas game will be the 40th time in college hoops history that we've seen No. 1 play No. 2 in the AP poll.
Monday's release has the Jayhawks at the top for the first time this season, followed by the Sooners. Michigan State split the week -- losing at Iowa last Tuesday, then winning at Minnesota on Saturday -- so it falls from the top spot to No. 5.
The two other undefeated teams left in college hoops, SMU and South Carolina, are respectively 15th and 22nd in this week's poll.
Providence bumped up five spots to No. 8.
