“•Mets beat the Giants 6-5• The Mets beat the Giants 6-5 behind an erratic start from Jacob deGrom. Although he threw 6 innings with no earned runs he did walk 4 batters. The offense was carried by another strong game by Michael Conforto. He notched 3 hits while collecting 3 RBI’s with a homerun. Neil Walker also had 2 RBI’s on a single in the first.
