Fred Hoiberg says Derrick Rose is playing his best basketball

Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls will look to keep things rolling on Wednesday night when they take the floor for a showdown with Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks.
While the Knicks have fallen out of the playoff race altogether, the Bulls are still fighting for their postseason lives with the play of their starting point guard being one of the big reasons why they've enjoyed success of late.
“He’s playing his best stretch of basketball. There’s no doubt about it,” Fred Hoiberg said, according to Vincent Goodwill of CSNChicago.com. “He’s raising up and taking and making clutch shots with no fear. He’s attacking the basket. He’s doing a good job finding mismatches and throwing ahead on the break. And his defense has been much better the last few games, applying more hand pressure, getting deflections and getting in the ball better on the pick-and roll.”
Rose has shot 60% from the field or better in back-to-back games for Chicago and will have an opportunity to do that for a third straight game for the first time in his professional career with another strong performance against New York.
