Adam Petty 1980-2000. 16 years ago today the NASCAR community lost a young talent who many said could race like his grandfather. #AdamPetty lost his life at the age of only 19 in a practice crash at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Even though Adam is gone his life and legacy lives on through the Victory Junction Gang Camp near Randleman, #NorthCarolina. The camp “enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camp experiences all in a medically-safe environment at no cost to the camper or their family”.
