BREAKING NEWS: Penalties handed down to the #18 team following Kansas. The 18 was found to have an infraction with the lug nuts following the race. The matter was not clearly stated as to whether Busch and team had all five lugs, had lugs loose, or another issue. Busch’s Crew Chief, Adam Stevens, was fined $20,000, suspended one race (Next race is at Dover), and placed on probation through December 31st. The right front tire changer, Josh Leslie, was suspended through May and received the same probation as Stevens.
