The question heading into the 2014 Cy Young Award reveal Wednesday was "Clayton Kershaw and who else?"
The answer: Corey Kluber of the Cleveland Indians, who edged Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners. Kershaw, of course, won his second straight NL Cy Young, but that didn't have nearly the drama of the AL award.Kluber earned 17 of the 30 first-place votes from the Baseball Writers Association of America. Hernandez was second with 13 first-place votes. They were separated by 10 overall points, 169 to 159. Chris Sale of the Chicago White Sox finished third.
