School co-founded by Deion Sanders in danger of closing

Deion Sanders is considered one of the best defensive backs in NFL history. A 2011 inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, "Prime Time" was also an eight-time Pro Bowler. But the success Sanders had on the field unfortunately hasn't translated to the charter school he co-founded in 2012. According to The Dallas Morning News, Prime Time Prep is in danger of losing its charter. From the report:
Yikes. That doesn't sound good. The institution has had a tumultuous existence in its short run. Sanders was fired — then rehired the next day — after choking the school's chief financial officer. Just last year, Prime Prep lost its eligibility to be part of the National School Lunch Program.
In a Facebook status posted to his page Monday, it appeared Sanders had thrown in the towel.
