Teemu Selanne jersey retirement to test Jets' patience

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Ducks legend Teemu Selanne set a few major, league records in his NHL career – NHL goals by a rookie, goals by a Finnish born player, and a boatload of Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks marks.
He may set a new one Sunday, for the longest jersey retirement ceremony in NHL history.
We're supposed to be in our seats at 4:30 p.m. at Anaheim’s Honda Center for the start of the celebration. Sunday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets is supposed to start at 6 p.m. That’s a lot of Teemu. It could rival Mark Messier’s absurdly long New York Rangers grandiose, over-the-top opus in 2006. This YouTube lists his 2006 moment as an hour and 15 minutes and 47 seconds. Watch at your own risk.
